Dedicated to helping families with children who have Cerebral Palsy or any other Neurological and/or Learning Disability find the support, resources and services they need. Your CP - Cerebral Palsy Links Pages
My intent was to make this site all inclusive of every State with links to Cerebral Palsy sites and other disability sites throughout the country. I tried to do that but have found it is more than I am capable of, what with other obligations. I had asked for help in finding useful disability links in other States but this site has been up for quite awhile and none have seen fit to provide me with any. I will continue to post disability sites as I receive them or find them on my own but I will be more concentrated in my efforts to Washington State and Pierce County in particular. That said, keep in mind that the IDEA 2004 and IEP and the 504 Plan of the ADA is Federal law and what is considered useful information for one State can be applied to all States. So most all the information and links you find on this site can be applied to any State, County, School, Workplace or other area where special consideration should be applied for a disabled person. What accommodations have been suggested as being viable here in Washington State would also be viable in any other State, so I encourage you to use that information you find here to your or your child's benefit no matter where you live. |

will be state and county pages. Some are not linked from
this sidebar but from within a page
The CP Links Page is where you will find most Federal, State and local County pages. My attempt to clarify CP you may find the information provided by NINDS (below) is more specific and detailed There are many different treatments and I only name those I am familiar withHow it is essential to maintain range of motion How it is essential to maintain quality of life What I know through my experience By far not even close to what you should know and Orthotics Again what I know through experience Much more can be had searching the net or talking with doctors and therapists CP LINKS Cerebral Palsy Glossary Perhaps a bit more concise and informed than my attempt to tell of what CP is.

Categorized By: Federal, State/ U.S. Territory Federal links are on a separate page. Washington State is quite complete and Pierce County is as well. The States links to the States home page with some dedicated searching you can find County, City and often Schools. Most States have a Department of Health, A Department of Social and Health Services and/or A Division of Developmental Disabilities and/or a Division of Vocational Rehabilitation and other such pages. I started doing some and Alaska has quite a bit done just a fraction on Alabama and Arizona and the rest except Washington State is just the link to the State homepage. Do to many obligations of my time I do not think I will have the time to expand this section for quite awhile though if any send me local links I will try to get them posted. STATES & Territories Alabama I hope you find the information on these pages useful.
Please send me links to post under the various states or join CPSFN and have a link point to your site. I would like for people interested in Joining CPFSN to build a site that both incorporates their State links but also their local links. As I feel it would be nearly impossible for any to get all the information of every State on one site I think you should concentrate on your County or major City, as I have under Pierce County on this site.
