State of Alaska Disability sites Dedicated to helping families with children who have Cerebral Palsy or any other Neurological and/or Learning Disability find the support, resources and services they need. If you find any broken links or out of date stuff please send me an email. Broken links and out of date material do no one any good. So far I've done Washington State and am working my way alphabetically through the rest.

The CP Links Page is where you will find most Federal, State and local County pages. My attempt to clarify CP you may find the information provided by NINDS is more specific and detailed There are many different treatments and I only name those I am familiar withHow it is essential to maintain range of motion How it is essential to maintain quality of life What I know through my experience By far not even close to what you should know and Orthotics Again what I know through experience Much more can be had searching the net or talking with doctors and therapists CP LINKS Cerebral Palsy Glossary Perhaps a bit more concise and informed than my attempt to tell of what CP is.

Alaska State Links
Most all State organizations will provide support for you at the local level. A lot of LINKS provide the same information. I've tried to just place those that are different in some way. Alaska State Home pageGovernment: Private: Education Resources State and Private: Schools with Websites or email
Counties In Alaska State The list of Counties will be linked to a page I created for these links and many others I have found. (Please note that Alaska is not easily separated into counties. They have Burroughs, and community jurisdictions that in many cases overlap. Distinguishable counties are not the norm.) The main pages of each County / Burroughs can be sparse or overflowing with information. I would be interested in any links that are directed at the disabled dealing with medical assistance and any support or advocacy groups.
Click on the County / Burroughs Name below to go to a page with the County link on that page as well as Health Depts and city and town and school districts. And if I find any events and activities. Many Fairgrounds have events year round. I need any links to disabled support, advocacy, health and info sites within a County even if it is just a support group. Please Send me those links. (Till I have the time to research these further I hope these links will suffice.) Counties, Burroughs, Communities, Cities:
I hope you find the information on these pages useful. If you have information of any organizations or government agencies that are County specific dealing with children with cerebral palsy or other disabilities, let me know and I will create a link to the County. Also any State links that are of significance let me know and I will post them here.
